Thy Will Be Done
Accepting the reality of this moment;
Even though I will never understand.
Leaving behind memories of the past;
Open to a future shining with hope.
Regardless of what comes my way;
Surrender into reality… Thy will be done.
Complacent? Nope, not in a million years.
I know that my vision is so distorted;
My hopes, dreams, aspirations are just that;
MY hopes… MY dreams… MY aspirations.
Freedom to walk this path empowered;
Surrender into reality… Thy will be done.
Inhaling, Thy will… exhaling, be done;
Settling thoughts, emotions, and fears.
Strength comes from surrender of my will;
The greater good… God's love in action.
Knowing that He provides all my needs;
Surrender into reality… Thy will be done.
