Non Forgetful
We may be saying certain things,
About what our future brings;
I am convinced and very sure,
That better things will be in store.
For our God is fair and just,
Rest assured you can put your trust;
Because He will never forget,
What you have done or you regret.
Every time that you do show,
The love you give He does know;
Every compassionate deed,
That is helping someone in need.
Prove that your hard work will remain,
God declares it is not in vain;
Because if you become lazy,
Satan will then make you crazy.
Mimic those with faith and patience,
Do what is right in your conscience;
For the Lord will eagerly bless,
All the goodness that you express.
God promises that if you wait,
He sees to it to compensate;
As long as it is patiently,
Just rest easy to wait and see.
These things will never be altered,
Since it is engraved in His Word;
Patience is built into His oath,
For persevering in your growth.
