Wonderful Visions and Revelation
If I ever wanted to brag,
I would never be such a fool;
Because it is kind of a drag,
Leaving open to ridicule.
I only want to tell the truth,
And so I will be sparing you;
Since it would be a bit uncouth,
If I would say something untrue.
It is more about the weakness,
That each of us have deep within;
All the temptation that possess,
That attempts to get us to sin.
No one else may think more of me,
Because of their true disbelief;
No matter what they hear or see,
Will not turn over a new leaf.
For the visions that I have seen,
With so many of revelations;
Anything that has not yet been,
Possibly some emulations.
I want not to sound conceited,
For problems that I have to deal;
How believers are mistreated,
Is really stressing out my zeal.
But grace from Christ is sufficient,
His power helps where I am weak;
And His wisdom is proficient,
For the solutions that I seek.
