Poetic Verses
All The Same
It very amazing how people tend to most certainly
That they are better than the other comparatively
So in their minds there is that perception of some special gift
That when stacked against the rest, something sets them adrift
But it would be good for all of them to face of course reality
That in all events they all no matter what faced the same probability
So no matter the financial setting or the type of skin pigmentation
As long as one is living they have to face a similar situation
Take a look at the rich man in his mansion on the hill
There will be that look of surprise when the news breaks that he is ill
So many may believe that with all his wealth and money
They could in some way confer on him a degree of immunity
How often people tend to revere and have some admiration
For those who are in what is considered society's exalted profession
This status may on some observers cultivate a bit of jealousy
But even that elevation does not shield them from the fate of humanity
In one living there is that motivation and drive by what is called ambition
Some may find it is a form of association and other in education
There are those who take it in stride, others my become snobs
But this over life's uncertainties and probabilities offer no lobs
So no matter what side of the hill or the valley we abide
That probability we all face will not in any instance slide
It does not matter whether or is servant or master
The fate is the same for a king, hobo or pauper
That they are better than the other comparatively
So in their minds there is that perception of some special gift
