Hopeful
Hopeful for circumstances to unfold;
Faith trusts, so I yield my will.
Not seeking my way,
Not demanding…
Seeing the benefit to all concerned,
But knowing that God is God,
The ultimate authority.
Prayerfully submitting;
Supplications rendered;
My prayers released into the heavens.
The seed has been planted
By intension,
Continually watered
By attention;
Patiently waiting.
Standing in the gap,
Knowing that all things
Happen for a reason
To those surrendered
To God's will.
Hopeful that blessings rain,
Wanting to see the fulfillment
Of my dreams in this world.
Believing those dreams to be aligned,
But I can only see partially…
I know such a fraction.
Trust accompanies my prayers,
Knowing that God loves
The entirety of His creation.
Life is what life is. Hopeful.
