Poetic-Verses

'' They Are The Prime Example ''

They avoid paying tax using dodgy schemes,
Despite being multi millionaires,
To hide their income they will go to extremes,
As for us they just say ‘' who cares ‘'

We fund their lifestyles us ordinary folk,
Yes it's a matter of choice,
But they look upon us as a bit of a joke,
We starve whilst they all rejoice.

Royalty and ministers give them their time,
But they never take them to task,
Why this should be is truly a crime,
Could it be they're afraid to ask?

They are given honours despite all their fiddles,
In life they're guaranteed to go far,
Why this happens is one of life's riddles,
In fact it is downright bizarre.

If you don't pay tax they'll hammer you hard,
You'll be paying for the rest of your life,
While the rich just play the bankrupt card,
Which in turn ends their monetary strife.

Fiddling the taxpayers to them is the norm,
So the famous just then follow suit,
If it works for you they'll say, we'll conform,
At depriving us they become very astute.

We are the fools, who are being robbed blind,
By the rich who are bleeding us dry,
Yet it's the common worker, who's left feeling maligned,
It's no wonder the working class cry.

The politicians, the famous have let it be known,
That over our morality they'll trample,
For greed and corruption let it be shown,
