What legacy will you leave behind - how would you have it said .. If you could write the words in stone - that passer's by could read ? What lines would tell the story - that would speak out loud and true That tell others of your walk through life - and show a glimpse of you Would the writing speak of triumph - of fighting a good fight .. Of staying to the journey's end - and doing what is right ? Of loving when the going's tough - of rising when pushed down .. Because the end was worth the prize - to gain the victor's crown ? Could it be said - that you were faithful - to the Lover of the lost .. That you gave your all to follow Him - no matter what the cost ? That you stayed the course - though the climb was steep - that led to your calvary.. That you carried your cross - in obedience - to the One who set you free Will others have seen your courage. Could they say that you did your best .. Will you be known as a friend of God..
