For the Earth

We as people from the earth's nations should join in unison
To form the person show some respect and some great consideration
For someone who has been then from each of our inception, such a survivor
And yet we extract so much and seem not to care that much about her

With such need and greed, and our selfish heed and that is everywhere
So we strip her bare of those trees that are growing there
Weakening those roots whose reticulate formation, held the top soil securely
No when the rain fall mud slides can affect those living those in the valley

Businesses are blooming and there are gases being produced in the manufacturing zone
These have cause such a depletion in that protective layer of ozone
Now heat of such intensity now is melting that great polar ice
So people now living in those coastal plains would not now think there is nice

But yet there are certain areas that are blessed with such minerals
Others have trees, animals and plants that are of such specific territorial
Then again there region so bare dry and even parched called deserts
On certain spots water is there, adaptable animals and the cactus plant seem unhurt

Withstanding all those demands and pressure of man, but still merciful
Geographically a certain sector can have access to one or many minerals
But some can extract it from the earth in a manner so economically
Whilst other places they are better off left alone and buried deeply

Now the product of our activities and quest for such an abundance of wealth
Have in effect to the scene many by products that has an effect on our health
But let us sit back take such though and in our deeds be so considerate
And make that effort to repair any damage before it get too late.
