This old world is unbelieving…
They still look for evidence
That Jesus Christ is still alive!
Who among us can convince
All the doubters that He is?
Do our lives portray this fact?
Can our testimony stand?
Is it real or just an act?
We may be the only proof
Some lost soul will chance to see
That God is who He says He is
And does abide in you and me.
Times have changed they’re not the same
As they were in days gone by.
Christianity is mocked…
Some even call it The Big Lie!
Paul the Apostle wrote of this …
Second Timothy chapter three...
Of how mankind would go astray
And move into apostasy.
The daily news confirms these facts.
It’s a sad thing but it’s true.
How it must break the heart of God
Because it’s breaking my heart, too!
It’s up to us to show the world
They need Jesus to survive.
But can they read our lives to see
That He is very much alive?
For up until He comes again
It’s our responsibility
To pray and really mean this prayer,
“Sweet Lord Jesus, touch through me.”

2 Timothy 3 New King James Version (NKJV) Perilous Times and Perilous Men
3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also
