things I have been thinking about
Day goes by
I forgot to tell you something this morning,
I got busy and just left,
I thought about it again around lunch,
and I told myself I would tell you as soon as I got home.
Remembered it again around 3,
when I heard our song on the radio.
Driving home was crazy
I parked in the garage like I do everyday,
and walked into the kitchen where you were.
I thought to myself that you were beautiful,
that I was lucky,
but I only made some small talk do.
Went and did all that stuff with the kids,
grilled us dinner and watched some sad TV.
10 o'clock and another day gone by.
Woke up at 3 realizing what I had forgot.
