1) WHERE DO WE FIND HAPPINESS ?

People look for happiness in many different ways ..

Some seek it in relationships - thinking - that's the way..

others - gather objects - like houses - cars - or clothes

While many spend their money on holidays and tours .

They laugh at trivialities - pretending to be free..

And all the time - they ask themselves ...

'Is this all there is for me ?'

Pretty baubles - tinsel - castles in the sand

Fantasies - illusions -that can vanish like the wind ..

More and more is then required to satisfy the need

Bigger - better - faster - such vanity and greed .

But - all these things are temporal..

They can fail - rust - mould - decay

Then leave the Spirit empty - they can't satisfy the soul .

So what can be the answer - when the carnival is gone ..

When clouds hang black and heavy - and birds no longer sing ?

When bodies- strong and healthy - are struck by pain and fear ..

When loss - rejection - sorrow - come walking in the door ?

In a world where war is imminent- and disease is everywhere ..

Where doctors need a doctor - 'cos they don't have a cure .

Is there a bandage long enough - to mend a broken heart ..

A drink - a pill - to lift you up - that never lets you down ?

Can anybody tell us where to go - and how to find ..

The answer to our problem......

That gives us - JOY - and PEACE of Mind ?
