Poetic Verses
That Will
As human beings we are blessed with what is call a will
That great pillar on which our lives are shaped and built
There are moments when the strength of that will is put to the test
But that confidence that accompanies it will make you give your best
How many times in a situation we can hear people say
Everybody does it that is the happening of things today
But even if to them that action brings such delight
You have you will to determine whether for you its right
There are times when people would say when caught doing wrong
That someone cause them to do it will be that same old song
But of course they have a will and should always understand
That its in their power too not to act on someone's command
Today the one thing that is the centre of most parents' fear
It how their teenage children will deal with that pressure from their peers
They can talk with them and prepare them, but that final act still
Resides in that action manifested by the power of their will
Picture them out there and they had the presence of mind to prepare
And one of the actions was to take along money for a taxi fare
This moment will somehow bring that feeling of joy inwardly
A sign that there is that will to act in a manner quite responsibly
In some of our ailment for a bit of relief we resort to taking a pill
But doesn't it work in synergy with that part call a will
The power and energy generated by that in a person
Can help them ride out many a difficult situation.
