What is love does it even exist?
Now there's a question to savour,
If it went away would it even be missed?
I believe it's a myth we could waiver.
Who made the claim that love is real?
How the hell would they ever have known?
It's something we can't see but only feel,
We learn it without ever being shown.
Whoever said that love was true,
Was only trying to be kind,
For if you believe it chaos will ensue,

We can all live life without falling in love,
Though some would say that's a bit of a bore,
If it truly was a gift from above,
When it dies why do we hurt to the core.
If love were real it would never die,
But it happens all of the time,
When it disappears you're left to cry,
That to me is a crime.
I hate to say it but love is wrong,
It's a power that can truly blind,
It can destroy a heart that once was strong,

Why would we hurt the one we loved so,
If for them we really cared,
If it were true it would eternally flow,
Yet our judgement becomes totally impaired.
Remaining alone is what I'll ensure,
That's the way I'll choose to stay,
For a broken heart there is no cure,
A loner no one can betray.
I've decided to live my life alone,
That way I'll have no ties to bind,
By these very words I think I have shown,
