Things expire and are thrown out…
Foods and medicines no doubt.
Things do fail through fire or flood.
But no expiration on the Blood!
The Blood of Jesus cannot lose!
Its power packed for those who choose
A residence on God’s estate.
The blood is never out of date!
Life has its usual twists and turns…
But a seeking person always learns
Some things may change after awhile
But the Blood is never out of style!
Health and healing… life and love…
All beneficial through the Blood!
That precious Blood stained Calvary’s tree…
Paid for our sins and set us free!
Preachers these days preach of love…
The Blood is seldom spoken of!
But when the Lamb of God was bled…
The greatest act of love was shed!
Things do expire and are thrown out
But the Blood of Jesus holds no doubt!
It’s something we can celebrate
There is no expiration date!!
