Thinking out loudBeware of a chef who advertises one's self, Because really good food will speak for itself, I find courtesy displayed to others on the road, Invariably has a way of being returned twofold, Be respectful of others, its valuable and its free, It's rewarded back when you agree to disagree, Starving children on our screens can bring home pain, However it's not enough to prevent it happening again, Some journalist wield their pens as if a powerful tool, But make the mistake of treating the reader as a fool, With my poems I can relate some of my inner thoughts, Creating that vivid picture by joining those verbal dots. Make the most of our time here, take life by the hand, We are but temporary footprints on the shifting sand. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
