 JANET'S PLANET

Down In A Deep Dark Pit

Fantasy Pictures, Images and Photos
He was stripped of everything
He had sunk deep down
Down in a deep dark pit
No sign of light
The lowest he had ever been
So much weight
Heavy on his bare shoulders
He had been attacked
He felt trapped
His mind and body were twisted and tangled
Confused, bewildered, and lost
He was looking for a way out
He had been down far too long
Hunger, bitterness, and loneliness
Searching, craving, bearing his soul
One night he had a dream
He saw a vision of beauty
He saw flowers flourishing
Above his head
Their curled vines were trapping him
Holding him captive
He wanted to climb out of the deep dark pit
Dark clouds began to flee from him
The beauty of the flowers
Gave him something to reach for
He felt their image releasing his misery
He chose to grasp and hold on to beauty
