14) NEXT DAY

( Mary - the next day )

Rude awakenings - noise - crowds -

Shouting - running - What's happening?

Bleary eyes - sleepy - so sleepy -

Why won't they let me sleep ?

What's the fuss about anyway ?

What's so special about today ?

Nothing special happens here -

Unless - of course - there's death today ..

Someone always dies here ....

No - I won't think about that - I'll just sleep -

It will pass - it always does.

Curious - they are still coming ...

Who are they ? - Why are they here ?

Could it be a procession ?

I wonder ?

No - no trumpets- there are always trumpets at a procession .

I'll just take a look -

Maybe someone will tell me what is happening -

So I can go back to sleep .

O sleep - that's all I want to do - sleep and forget .

Anyway - I'll just ask .

Hey you ! - What are you doing ? - Where are you going ?

Following who ? -

A man called JESUS - Who is HE ?

What's HE done ? - Where are you going ?

You're gonna hear HIM speak ?

O well - you do what you must do ..

I want to sleep ...

....Just go to sleep ....
