The majority of people in our world,
Ignore the plights of others,
We really should know better,
They're our sisters and our brothers.
We're all in this together they say,
What a bloody farce,
We can say without any doubt,
This talk comes from their arse.
Politicians say we must cut back,
That's to give them more to steal,
While we're all bloody starving,
They enjoy their twelve-course meal.
All the G8 leaders say,
The starving will be fine,
As they sit back and stuff themselves,
Washed down by expensive wine.
This just sums the bastards up,
Do as I say not as I do,
They are living on another planet,
Not one of them has a clue.
They put Saddam Hussein to death,
His use of weapons they had to foil,
Though there were none they didn't care,
Iraq was rich with oil.
Gaddafi who butchered thousands,
His people left in tears,
Forty years on we intervene,
Why, black stuff coming out of his ears?
Kuwait led by dictators,
When invaded by Iraq,
Were freed by us their saviours,
Because they were rich in black.
Mugabe kills his people,
Just the same as Mr Hussein,
Yet we do not try to oust him,
Why, there is no oil to gain.
Syria is doing exactly the same,
While Assad just kills for fun,
We just sit back and watch them die,
No oil is his smoking gun.
Why do we differentiate?
How can we ignore their plight?
