Dishonesty disgusts the Lord,
And your requests will be ignored,
While accuracy pleases Him;
As blessings fill up to the brim.
Arrogance comes and then comes shame,
In any pride that you will proclaim;
But wisdom remains to the meek,
When it is the Lord that they seek.
Integrity guides the guiltless,
Into the light for righteousness;
While hypocrisy will destroy,
Treacherous people that employ.
Wealth not good on Judgment Day,
If you got rich to go astray;
All will be gone with your last breath,
But righteousness saves you from death.
Righteousness will make the road smooth,
The load of this life Christ will soothe;
But the wicked find ruts in life,
Have potholes that are filled with strife.
Those with faith and truly believed,
Are saved through salvation received;
But wicked people having greed,
Never know how they can succeed.
For treacherous people are trapped,
To all the lusts that they are strapped;
And when they lose no place to hide,
Being naked since clothed with pride.
