YOU ARE UNIQUE

Of all the billions of people in the world -

There is only one - UNIQUE - You .

No other person - from the beginning of time -

Has your DNA - or your eyes - It is True !

That may seem fanciful - and hard to believe -

But I tell you no lie .

Dear Precious - individual one - in all this wide world -

We are - UNIQUE - you and I .

Yes - whether famous and rich - or the lowest of low -

You can boast of your value - wherever you go .

Because - you are as rare - as the rarest of gold -

Yet - you might still be a baby - or a hundred years old .

Whatever your colour - age - creed or race -

There is no-one - exactly like you - in their make-up or face .

Yes - there are some - we may know - as identical twins -

But these too - have their different - blueprints - and

mannerisms .

By the outward appearance - they may look the same -

And - it's easy to call them - by the other twin's name .

But - it still doesn't change - what is basically true -

Even they are UNIQUE - like me - and like you .

Perhaps you may have wondered - why it is done -

That you are identified - by the print of your thumb ?

Well - let me tell you again - how UNIQUE - you really are -

There is no other thumb print - like yours - ANYWHERE !

I have heard it said - that we're here - by random design -

That all is by chance - with no reason or rhyme .

If that were the case - what a mess we'd be in !

As that could result - with a foot - sticking out of our chin !

I know that sounds silly - and I'm sure you'd agree -

It's far better our parts - are all where they should be '

Well - this little poem may seem light-hearted - it's true -

But - I'll tell you again - There is only ONE - UNIQUE - YOU.

Created by - GOD - in HIS all-loving plan -

HE knit you together - in your mother's womb .

So - don't say - nobody loves you - or you shouldn't be here -

'Cos - YOU ARE PRECIOUS - UNIQUE - and ETERNALLY

DEAR .

IF THERE'S ONLY ONE THING YOU GET FROM
THESE WORDS I'VE WRITTEN TODAY - IT IS THIS -
YOU ARE MORE VALUABLE THAN YOU
WILL EVER REALISE TO - JESUS -
AND BECAUSE HE THOUGHT SO -
HE WILLINGLY GAVE HIS LIFE -
SO WE COULD KNOW HOW MUCH OUR
HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES US -
AND WANTS US TO BE RECONCILED TO HIM.
SO - TODAY - IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO -
ASK HIM INTOYOUR HEART - AND LET HIM MAKE -
THE 'UNIQUE' YOU - HIS CHILD .
