Miracle of NatureA gentle breeze dries the new butterfly's gossamer wings, That courting melody, a bird high among the blossoms sings, New buds reach up to kiss the warmth of a rising spring sun, Writing another miracle in a fresh page that nature has begun, With new life all around from the forest to open hills and dales, Young calves the latest addition to the annual migrating whales, This yearly re-transformation as a new season brings forth being, Spring is all around in what we hear and in what we're seeing, Creatures open their eyes to a world of new light and new sound, New fragrances and colours as the warmer seasons come around, Eggs laid in warm cosy nests, safely hidden from many prying eyes, Bumble bees heard buzzing around, their honey nectar nature's prize Say goodbye to the misery of winter, as the days stretch out longer, Newborn animals find their legs, as their bodies are getting stronger, Our Mother nature does this every year, perfect in all that she does, So tell our children that's the way it is and the way it always was Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
