      ~*~     O Thou, Lord Nrisimha, who is assisted by Sarasvati,   The goddess of learning, who is embraced by Lakshmi,   The Goddess of prosperity, who is Vishnu, the Supreme   Soul and the knowledge incarnate, May Thou protect us!   O Lord Nrisimha, protect us from the fear of dangers   Created by the evil minded enemies, and Thou cover   Their influence by Thy own transcendental influence!   ~*~   O Great Lord, O Supreme Personality of Godhead!   O Lord of the Universe, what difficulty is there for You   Who manages the affairs of the universe, in delivering   The fallen souls engaged in Your devotional service?   You are the friend of all suffering humanity, and hence   I think, You will shower Your blessings upon us!   ~*~   Obeisances unto Lord Nrisimha, whose eyes pour forth   Torrents of heavenly fire to destroy the enemies of Universe,   O Thou, who roared to protect Your great devotee Prahlada*   Emerging out from a stone pillar with fierce form of Man-lion   And destroyed Hiranyakasipu*, O Lord, Burn all my enemies,   And turn them to ashes; Protect me always from all directions!   ~*~   All glories to Nrisimha, who is the Lord of Prahlada, and   Like the honey bee who is always engaged in beholding   The lotus-like face of Lakshmi, the Goddess of fortune!   Obeisances unto Thee, O Lord Nrisimha, who is always   Enlightening the minds of devotees from within their hearts   And who always kills the nescience that attacks the devotees   Whose mercy is like delightful moonshine, and whose face   Blazes like thousand Suns of Summer, May Thou protect us!   ~*~   O Lord, who has blazing nails and teeth just like thunderbolts,   Kindly vanquish our demon-like desires for fruitive activity;   Appear in our hearts and drive away our ignorance, by Thy   Grace we may become fearless in the struggle for existence!   May there be peace throughout the world, and may all envious   Persons be pacified.
