House for Sale

I saw a picture today

Framed in harmony

The hook that it hang on

Made me want to play

Although the house was empty

All I could hear was smiles

The boards on which I stood

Was grass that stretched for miles

I danced atop the flowers

That decorated the edge

I even took the time

To trim the top off of the hedge

A garden given by the mirror

That just reflected you and me

I even cast a seed

In the hope to grow a tree

I even polished stars

So that they may outshine the sun

Because deep down

I know that you are one.

Well, I'll take the mirror down now, this place is not my home

I'll put it in a box and wrap it with my thoughts

Might even throw in a lucky Penny

I wouldn't want it to be alone
