Firm in the Faith
All of you must serve each other,
Viewing as sister or brother;
Assisting with humility,
Confidence and stability.
God rebukes a bad attitude,
Someone as arrogant and rude;
Or someone who likes to grumble,
But favors one that is humble.
Be humbled by the might of God,
Pay homage with honor and laud;
So that when the time is just right,
You will enter in through the light.
Turn your anxiety onto Him,
To keep you from feeling so grim;
Because He truly cares for you,
And help to see your troubles through.
Keep a clear mind and be alert,
So attacks from Satan you avert;
Like a lion to devour,
As his meal nearly any hour.
You know that Satan does exist,
So be firm in faith and resist;
Knowing another believer,
Does suffer from the deceiver.
God will always show His kindness,
Through His glory and blessedness;
As He will strengthen and restore,
Of your soul at its very core.
