Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Re-Animationator
He rots, like a collage of regret
Feasting upon his flesh and pulling
The skin and muscle away from the bone.
The scent is disgusting, his wings
Flutter away and he bleeds upon the floor,
Caring not for the mess he makes.
I'm enticed to rub my hands along
His decaying entity, to feel his slow death
In a way that most cannot.
The pretense is that he will die,
Once the blood has ceased to empty
This hideous husk.
But upon mulling it over, a most
Luminous idea flows into my mind and
I take the blade like a new lover.
The tapestries hang, shining with blood,
The essence of animation drying upon them as
I lay crumpled upon the floor, experiencing life.
