What is Love
That is not the moon behind me
It is a vision of a soul
One that is part of me
But now sadly out of reach
I do not lay down like this
Simply for effect
It is my mind's way
Of portraying derelict
I want to move my arm
But it has no one I can touch
I might just lay here forever
Nothing else matters much
The leaves upon my dress
Blown in from the night
Are the bloodstains of my heart
Seeping from life's worst bite
Who will light the fire now
Behind me the grate is cold
Who will see the One like me
When he wore a young man's clothes
The worst of this is yet to come
As there is no glass to window close
I can never block out the light
And my emptiness of face will show
Love is two as one
Not a puzzle left undone
Love is a light so strong
And when light is extinguished
You see a moon that ate the sun
