To my lovely sister June who is a twin to Ann who has sadly passed on. They are seventy-two years old today 28/7/12. Have a wonderful birthday June and you Ann in Heaven blow out the candles with June. love always Penni xxx
A tiny pocket rocket
That is my sister June
A bundle full of energy
Who`ll dance and sing a tune.
She misses Ann her other half
But June please have no fear
Wherever you are Ann will be
She is always near.
June goes about upon her bike
And cycles everywhere
And then she does the highland fling
A strength so true and rare.
Remember June when I was wee
You took me by the hand
And skipped along the riverbank
And played among the sand.
Life was tough June way back then
Sometimes a hunger pang
Would nip at oor wee bellies
So that is when we sang.
Remember the piano
Locked up nice and tight
But all you did was pick the lock
And play it every night
Remember that big fella
You couldn`t reach to kiss
I smile as I remember
You were quite a miss.
I still hear you singing
As family sat around
Ave Maria was the song
Oh what a lovely sound.
Today sis is your birthday
So lots of love from me
