A Poem of Confidence
We have a strong city,
That its walls do provide;
And looking so pretty,
Feeling so safe inside.
Open the front gate,
Let the righteous come in;
For they patiently wait,
To get away from sin.
Faithful they do remain,
With perfect peace to you;
For as the Lord will reign,
They are remaining true.
It will protect each mind,
So it cannot be changed;
And be humble and kind,
As His Spirit arranged.
For they trust in the Lord,
The everlasting rock;
Being in one accord,
As He watches His flock.
He has brought down the ones,
Those that are living high;
In the tower with the guns,
For hearing others cry.
God levels it to dust,
And tramples with His feet;
Being buried in lust,
Providing Him a new seat.
