Language of Enchantment - SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS (PROMPT 25)

Showers of Blessing

As a child she’d heard the story
Of the little cloud who cried
To water all the seeds God sowed….
See each seed multiplied.

The little cloud had been amazed
As miracles took place.
She’d prayed hard for a miracle…
Now smiles showered her face.

As rain ran through her fingers
Her joy ran without stop.
Her big protruding belly shook
In laughter with each drop.

How good of God to shower her
With blessings such as this!
Did the heavens open just to hug?
And the rain simply to kiss?

As the little cloud delighted
To see flowers fill the earth…
She delighted in each movement
That confirmed her children’s birth!

Once the prayer of faith was planted
God not only met her need
To know the joy of motherhood…
He’d multiplied the seed!

And the one considered barren
Was compensated to conceive...
Because those delightful drops from Heaven
Bless all who dare believe.
