Immortality

I don't wish to offend
Another's religious views
For I've never walked
In that other's shoes
But I don't believe in gods
Or in life after death

I believe it's all finished
With the last drawn breath
But as long as there are memories
Lodged in another's head
The one being remembered is
Never really truly dead
