Do You Vote Or Do You Take Your Freedom And Rights For Granted?
This is not a poem as much as it is a survey,
there is only one question that I am asking
in this survey. Do you vote or do you take
your freedom and rights for granted? Freedom
and your rights are not free, many of our own
young Americans have fought in many wars and
conflicts to defend freedom in our own world,
so when you use your freedom and your rights
that were paid for by many throughout history
you honor those who paid the ultimate cost for
your freedom and your rights here in America.
But if you are apathetic and do not care less
about how you received these rights and your
freedom in America and just take everything
for granted, then they have died for nothing,
someday when you lose your rights and freedom
you will scream and yell because you have but
it will be your own fault in reality because
you took everything for granted in life and if
you failed to use your right to vote then you
will be stuck with whatever comes along.
