Supplant the Old
We have confidence,
In the new promise;
Setting precedence,
In living for us.
We do speak boldly,
And not like Moses;
Who spoke real softly,
Of something joyous.
Do not hide your face,
By using a veil;
Nothing to disgrace,
Your face is not pale.
Open up closed minds,
What the Word does say;
Because the Word binds,
Wants you to obey.
Just because of Christ,
Old words do not fade;
Do not be enticed,
Before God forbade.
Those words not removed,
Just Christ could do that;
But Christ has improved,
In giving more fact.
So there is freedom,
Within the Spirit;
And through His wisdom,
In all your merit.
