Poetic Verses
A Lesson
Parents as you sit watching with you children the Olympics
Don not only sit there is awe at any exciting feat that grips
But use that moment to cultivate some form of motivation
So that it will embrace all those challenges required to be an Olympian
Telling them that they got there through hard work and discipline
Which paid off and it is evident by the rewards they are reaping
Re-enforcing that they had to work hard perhaps sometimes at night
So it was not easy road taken, from them now to be in the limelight
Yes let them know to that there were those moment of failure
But the coach was able to guide and apply the corrective measure
That person was able to oversee and iron out that at the training
But the trainee had to focus each moment without wavering or waning
As an example remind them too about when one country used to dominate
In those times it seems as though the others countries were there to only participate
But never daunted their athletes so determine stepped up to the plate
All because of the amount of hard work has certainly improved that state
So those winners by winning will have potentially a very good financial future
Which will be a sort of investment for when their athletic days are over?
This time also remind them that is will take prudence and discipline
So that they can enjoy living as those assets keep appreciating
So there is always very good to enjoy a session with your children
But use that period wisely to impart to them a life's lesson
It is always good to use thing that have that practical frequency
This may be the one that will reduce that thought of delinquency
