OLD TIMES---OLD FRIENDS

many times as we start out on a journey

tides of tears course slowly into wild dark seas knowing

we shall never see the old friends we once knew.

Many times they’ll be missed and think of the loved ones we once kissed.

It is these moments when we question

do I really want or need to go. The ones

we love will be far away across the

dark rolling waters of a deep cruel sea.

There are many reasons we love them

secret places locked in our hearts that only we know,

but here we are, looking at this dark lolloping sea and

knowing we are going. Never more shall we hear the voices

or smiles ofold dear friends again.
