Self-Effacement
Do you have the encouragement,
If you have a disappointment;
To get through the rest of your life,
Within the midst of any strife.
Do you have the comfort of love,
That is flowing from Christ above;
For giving the mercy and grace,
That will so easily embrace.
Do you have the relationship,
With Jesus as a partnership;
That within the spiritual realm,
While putting Christ at the helm.
Do you have any compassion,
In your spiritual relation,
For showing any sympathy,
Acknowledge of their empathy.
Then fill with joy your attitude,
You know another of their mood;
While being gentle and kind,
You keep the one purpose in mind.
Living in harmony and love,
As Lord Jesus does up above;
Humbly think others as better,
As the Lord does to the letter.
Do not have selfish ambitions,
Or with conceited conditions;
Not putting your interests at heart.
Think of how Jesus would impart.
