HELLO OLD FRIEND
What tragedy the nights
that would come forth
the stranger that slit my throat
Again a memory milks my essence
and leaves me in a manic state
of mental wither and wane
I called out your name
but there will be no sound
"Silence is the most powerful SCREAM"
An echo of injustice
another drink to numb
to kill the thought...of love
These moments I have grasped
but not these material things
that were obstructions of life
Somewhere back there
I sank into oblivion
waiting for my savior
Time was not on our side
a decade later we would be
an oracle I should of been
Where shall my body lay
when it has finished it's journey
of this road of indecent exposure
I now live another life
inside another world
dancing upon another landscape
The artist you were
and are and will always be
...these are your words...
I thought I had found you
and I wept until I fell
sleeping with mans best friend
Someone has kept me well...
alive and just here
you... I dream about...
...and have always
remember me and our insanity
I have left that long ago
In between the folds of past
and the curtain of this day
will you not...come to know me
