The Olympic flames have no w left the London shore
And will be set aglow on the on the stage of Rio For sure
So like a relay England has not successfully passed the baton
And this portion of the race would be run with it in Brazil's hand
But about those performers the dedicated athletes
Who on the day certainly treat with such great feats?
Even though many did not get that chance to be on the medal podium
Still kept on out seat's edge by providing such stiff competition
To some performing on this stage may be their last
This was quite evident by the way they perform this task
As they take off as they accelerated moving at full throttle
Their joy was so celebrated on knowing they have achieve that medal
Those who participated, especially the one having that first outing
Should come away with some degree of learning and understanding
Certainly now being aware of what is needed to raise that bar
If they want to be competitive and with the champion be on par
So during this four year period coaches and managers should definitely
Must keep themselves abreast with the competition even by technology
