 once upon a time

EVER HAD ONE OF THOSE DAYS

Ever had, ya know one of those days,
you know the one I mean, one of those DAYS.
Everything was hunky dory all day, until
I tried to put the car in gear, first gear, oh no.
I though gonna have one of those days.

Didn’t the auld car let go with the most flatulence
sound I’d ever heard. Usually if you hear a sound so
fearsome in it’s finality  you’d expect, a lotta  movement.
But not a bit of it the poor auld car just sat there unmoving.
Ach well says I one of those days, wondering why it’s always
in the wee small hours of the morning, but that’s life
hadda feel sorry for the poor wee car, it just sat there.

Now I’ve got one of those wee thinges called a phone
at least it was mobile, even though I was stationary.
Now I hadda bear in mind that the poor wee car is,
well little bit old, 165,674 miles on it’s mind.

Got my mobile phone and got me and him, the wee car
that is outta there. Arrived home in style, both of us, him carried
along on a nice flatbed truck and me sitting in the cab.
It was ya know upon reflection, just one of those days
