 My today's thoughts

HACIENDA




  
  





HACIENDA

In the garden beside their hacienda
grows large orange and yellow zinnias

A crow sits on a cactus tall and green
eating its seeds a delicious desert cuisine

From the veranda in the back under the shade
comes the soft melody of a guitar being played

A soothing love song caresses the evening air
music so lovely no sound can compare

Looking up at the clear desert sky
the stars hang low twinkling bright

As the desert sands grows cooler
their thoughts of love become hotter
