As Justified by Faith
Now by faith we have been approved,
All our sins have been removed;
And a peace with God for His Son,
What the Lord Jesus Christ has done.
Through Jesus we now can approach,
God with Jesus as our coach;
And stand in front within His favor,
Because Christ is our Savior.
So we brag for the confidence,
Having Christ as our defense;
And will receive glory from God,
While we show honor and laud.
We also brag when we feel pain,
And the suffering seems to rain;
For it teaches us to endure,
Not to be tempted by the lure.
Endurance will build character,
That will block that of the tempter;
And character gives confidence,
As a shield for our defense.
So we will never be ashamed,
With all of that we have proclaimed;
Since love from God pours in the heart,
With His wisdom for to impart.
Through hearts by the Holy Spirit,
The love used through our merit;
Unto us who has been given,
From our Savior up in Heaven
