DON'T  PUT OFF ' TIL TOMORROW


Don't put off 'til tomorrow 
What you can do today
Don't let the chances pass you by 
When you've something good to say .
Don't think - I'll soon get round to that 
Then as quickly - walk on by .
Do what good you can - however small
All it takes is - that you try .

Remember - time is always moving 
And we can't turn back the clock .
Like ships meant for crossing mighty seas  
They go nowhere in dry -dock .
And you cannot face the future
If  you're always looking back .
So - let go the past - and look ahead 
And then you'll stay on track .

Sometimes I know - we need some help
To make it to the end .
Or - we may need to hear a cheerful voice 
So we reach out to a friend
But - in all things turn to JESUS
HE will never let us down.
And HE'll hold us up - in the storms of life .
And HE won't let us drown .

So before you turn to anger 
Or you think to kick the cat .
Remember - what you do to others 
Will soon be measured back .
And it doesn't cost a penny 
To say a kindly word - or two 
But - the value is enormous 
When it comes straight back to you .

I don't mean to point the finger 
Or think - this does not apply to me
As when I point in your direction
My return is - three .
It's just that the rhythm of this poem
Works  out better - when I say  ' You '
But I know the content of my message 
Speaks directly at me too .

So - once more let me encourage you 
To sing a happy song .
Or stop to smell the roses 
When you walk along .
And cast all you burdens- on the LORD
Let HIM take each heavy weight
And say ' GOD bless you ' to a stranger 
Before it gets too late .

THEN I GUARANTEE ....

Your burdens will feel lighter 
As you face the upward climb
And the light of GOD will shine on you 
And - Bless You - in return .


SO MAY GOD BLESS ALL THE ' STRANGERS '
WHO READ THESE WORDS TODAY ...............
