Poetic Verses
Those Mistakes
Most times parent that hurt they cannot in no way contain
The hurt when they children do something to cause the pain
They may feel reluctant for some time to out in the society
Because they know this may be the talk of almost everybody
Remember those children will embark on that voyage in life's ocean
And you are the ones who will have to navigate them in a direction
Even though there may be currents, waves to blow them off course
Like a good captain you are the one with experience and the resource
The school of life not only involves living but have lots of avenues for learning
Even though we may like it, there are not too many things that have a happy ending
So hence there is certainly that opportunity to dig so deeply within
To find an answer that may be able to solve many of those problems
As one is alive the chances of making a mistake is always there
So in all don't throw those arms up in desperation or in despair
And of you have a friend or colleague who has not yet made one
That potential is always shadowing us when all Is said and done
How often in situations where a person in being praised
There will be someone remembering those mistakes that was made
It is so amazing how such past happening can in some people reside
So that they can find that opportunity to present a contrasting side
As parents there will be disappointments and a feeling of being let down
By some actions or decision you children in ignorance may have done
Hold fast remain firmly on the job and do not for a moment swerve
Remember too that you too were also on that learning curve.
