ST. IVES

ST. IVES

The place to be was St. Ives this day
This is such a picturesque bay,
The sand is beautiful and fine
It`s beaches are really divine.

The tide was in and the water clear
All of a sudden three seals did appear
The people flocked to get a closer look
And with our camera some pictures we took.

A man had fish which he fed to the seals
Much to the children`s delight and squeals,
One seal came right up to him for some food
He swallowed it whole it was never chewed.

One seal stuck close to the harbour wall
Waiting to catch some of the fishermen`s haul,
The third one liked the cruise boats best
He wanted to leave his audience impressed.

They stayed until all the food was gone
Once they were sure then they moved on,
They swam no doubt in search of more
Lovely creatures that people adore.
