Poetic Verses
A Scare
How many times these days we sit and wonder and ponder
About the inconsiderate way we treat and appreciate nature
And over time its fate is under lie by many a man made problem
Who by his demands is responsible for the disappearance of an Eco-system?
Those concerned can be seen with those tear welling in their eyes
At that stark reality as they see and then come to realize
That the children will not be blessed with that opportunity
To see a rare butterfly or a species of bird as they stop on that path of migratory
That disappearance of grass fields, arable land and open plains
Being replaced by buildings such as malls and houses are in the veins
Oh! What a joy is there to hear that squeal of joy which is of such delight
When they get that odd experience to see a starry sky on a block out night
Alas ! That perceived development and the spread of urbanization
Have deprived many children of seeing the sunrise or sunset on the horizon
As they are kept so enclosed in homes living in that artificial atmosphere
Since there is motor of the air condition in every room in the house there
Now this too is a feature in many aspects of the transportation
As people drive around window up even tinted in complete oblivion
Not seem to show any thought of their surrounding the natural beauty around
So can they in time impart any type of information to the children?
Many now are privy to an improved and better standard of living
So instead now of teaching the children they adopt a state of giving
Now they now completely swamped in an atmosphere of electronic magnetic radiation
Not taking enough time out to ensure there is any form of diversion
Isn't it scary to see how much these have captured their attention?
That in the presence of perhaps what may be such an adverse situation
They may still be so captivated and fascinated by these devices
So it will be quite fruitless trying to distract them with voices
