Beckoned to Her spirit like a captain lost at sea
searching for the lighthouse,
sailing through life aiming with purpose
to catch my soul before the evils take control;
Gradually getting closer to Her shine
as my fire burns from within the center of my essence
fueling my ambition to write with vigor,
to speak with vehement passion,
and to express my emotions beyond what most consider to be the limit…
She guides me like a muse to dispense the gift
of the present throughout my path,
blessing strangers in danger
of losing their souls to uncontrolled anger,
with the patients to circumvent evil
with the light of knowledge shared as wisdom;
It is Her that gives without want of return,
It is She that blesses me with the breath I am blessed to breathe,
It is the One True God that dwells within my essence,
giving me the serenity to except the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and with the wisdom to know the difference….
