Breezin
Near it draws as Summer ends
A better place a time now when
Becomes like breath of fresh air now
As searing temps will take their bow
September breeze will soon take hold
A time of then and now still holds
Cool thoughts of me upon a deck
Like ships captain where once I trekked
From pine trees scent to leaves about
A place where words once would account
For more than things of too before
Of heart on sleeve and too Green door
Here was home if for awhile, second to none
A place of peace, of just begun
A mindset where two minds where one
Where better days of hearts were won
This breeze blows by this day again
Caressing face again of then
Where standing still with eyes mine close
Feels presence of things two chose
If for awhile just let me be
This moment mine and too this breeze
For here is where all things stayed good
Here in heart and mind she stood
Breezin
