Weeping Awake Sleeping Partake®
Am i still thought of
am i missed at all,
am i remembered with love
why on earth have i been left to fall?
Some people seem to think
since time has passed i'm stronger,
well i am still on the brink
of despair and can't hold on much longer!
I miss my sweetheart more
with each passing day,
reminders by the score
of what has slipped away!
Away from my fingertips
that used to tickle much,
no warmth on my lips
just the cold of misery's touch!
I keep on praying
to stay asleep a miracle,
no sense of being awake and staying
where every breath takes its toll!
The only purpose
on earth is for me,
to suffer without his kiss
but to sleep on my lips it will be!
