Angels must Cry Too

Where is the light

Where is the hand I need to hold

Where is the sun

Why does my heart feel cold

Why can no one hear my pleas

Why am I drowning

Waving frantically

But still left in the raging seas

Where are you now

Can't you see my pain

You know I need you

Why don't you stop the bitter rain

What should I do

I am so alone

Where is your voice

To stop me falling down

In these times just turn

And offer your hand

You will find your Angel

You will feel the feathers falling

And you will see where they land

Through the silent tears

You will know what to do

For to understand your pain

Angels must cry too.
