Poetic Verses
An Anniversary
Another year has flown by and yes very quickly
The time is fast approaching for yet another anniversary
But it seems like just yesterday that we made those vows
It is just amazing the was the time the year rolls
Time too has brought along those many changes
And it has really straighten out some financial urges
So this year's celebration will be something quite different
Will do something this time and accept the earth's present
Instead o wining and dining it will be a drive in the country
Admire the trees, fields the verdant pasture and the poetic scenery
Will drive up to the elevated spot and from there on the cliff
What those boat bobbing around as in the current the drift
From there to that ride in that magnificent underground cave
To see that great wonder which nature has so well displayed
The flowing water giving that cooling effect to all around
What a gift of nature this is a natural air condition
Those limestone cylinder, affixed to the roof so tight
This is what is associated with what is called a stalactite
But there on the floor is another set so very upright
Another phenomenon of nature in the form of a stalagmite
There are also times there is an attraction as they come for opposite directions
When they meet and there is that formation of some very lovely columns
This sight alone can from you with it awe some of the breath take
What a wonder display form roof to floor of calcium carbonate
After that it will be the evening on the beach, the sunset to greet
Holding hands and the water lazily lashed again our feet
This moment makes the heat beats faster and oh what bliss
Signaling it was time to hold you close and seal the moment with a kiss
