Lights don't Flicker

Just sitting here

Thoughts suddenly explode

I can't sit still

I'm on a different road

Tears, joy and love invade

Need to sort them in to groups

So many voices

Have my mind going in a loop

I lean to stroke the Wolf

And hold the hand of love that's lost

Tears abound, pain and fear

I don't have words to pay the cost

Surrounded and confused

Who do I speak to first

Have to get it written now

Before my mind does burst

When spirits come lights don't flicker

And doors do not slam tight

There's just an everlasting candle

I know, because I've tried to blow it out

At least a thousand times.
